Finally

A good soaking rain with lots of lightning and thunder. Quite frighteningly loud and bright.

       Started the day following the Tour de France . . . read and napped before a social evening with the Imponderables. No safe place to try to capture the lightning and then this evening it was too far away and I saw only reflections in the dense cloud cover.
