Clear the cars

I am growing a huge dislike for cars, particularly the insane amount of traffic around. There were no cars driving past at 8pm when I took this out our front window but still 3 cars in sight... if I’d got up to take a shot down the road you’d see both sides lined with cars parked, on an already narrow road that buses go down, both ways!

There would be more in view but we have none on our drive as none of us have passed our test - which is probably why I’m bitter towards the other ones!

But I’m not bitter towards other people with cars, I’m bitter towards a country that makes public transport so unreliable, infrequent and impractical - partly due to expense, and partly due to so few lines, routes etc.

I announced over breakfast in d2 this morning (when several people were late due to gridlocked traffic) that if I was PM good public transport would be a top priority of mine (and some more congestion charge areas, car tax schemes etc etc... to pay for the better public transport...). Speaking of PM who knows who might be in that job in a month’s time! The world is crazy!
