Over the last 24 hours:

* we have had plenty of rain, the first for 26 days. Hooray !
* Donald J Trump has arrived in the UK on a non state visit which looks remarkably like a state visit. I should get used to his crassness - but it’s impossible. Whilst our government looks an omnishambles.
* the most amazing men’s semi final has just concluded
* I have a new camera - it’s my birthday, so a day off.
