Mr and Mrs Swan were just bringing their seven cygnets to the shore as I arrived. Some started preening, others relaxing. 

I planted the courgettes bought yesterday and gave them lots of water as the soil was dry to the bottom of the holes I dug.  It's later than I normally put them in so fingers crossed that they grow..
