The pond keeper

I have had this little gnome for many years now. He was a gift to me from my lovely Higher French class, who had studied Amélie as part of their course. Those of you who know the film may remember the ‘travelling gnome’ theme , where photos are taken with the gnome at famous landmarks. Unfortunately this gnome has never travelled. He prefers to look after my wildlife pond.
