Crochet

I'm holding back on getting stuck into any sewing projects with my new machine as we have visitors coming etc, but this is the crochet I've been learning in the evenings ...

Today is overcast and cooler. It looks and smells like it might rain and I thought I did feel a few drops but nothing so far...

This evening I went to the public meeting about the proposed plastics factory coming to our little town.
That there are so many people so knowledgeably and committedly against it gives me hope that it might never happen.
Otherwise it it an unmitigated disaster.
