Today’s surprise

Part of a display at the German American Heritage Center today in Davenport. We walked in with our mother and her family in mind and we saw this carrousel display. To our amazement there was our grandfather, D.C. Müller, a classically trained artist and long considered to the finest here in the States. “Oh my gosh, that’s our grandfather!” and the woman at the front desk comes back to talk to us. What an amazing day.
