Jordan came to take Archie out to the Hermitage, and it was an ideal, cooler day. Jordan was very chuffed with the enthusiastic welcome he got from Archie (I just said, 'Hi'), and Archie choosing to relax on his lap while we had a coffee when they came back.
We’ve done a u-turn on the bathroom renovations, after considering the options further. And 'no action' is not an option. So the architect is coming to speak us on site, in situ, where we can toss ideas around and arrive at the ideal solution, which doesn’t cost the earth. So next year's river cruise may be on hold...
I had to pop to the hospital this evening for a CT scan on my dodgy knees. My surgeon hopes to discover why they're still not working (after TWO years). It was the fastest hospital appointment ever - in and out in about ten minutes, and most of that was walking along endless corridors.
Enjoyed watching the Channel Four News coverage of President Trump's formal red carpet welcome at Blenheim Palace in the evening sunshine, with a hilariously irreverent commentary by Jon Snow.
Archie was relaxing on my flokati rug this morning, merging in. I nearly stood on him!
