Buddleia

I'm struggling to get to grips with this camera that Brian has kindly passed on to me. No matter what I do I can't get it to do a macro, even on the designated setting for it. Hopefully i will get to grips with it eventually.

I've been at the Folks' today. The dog doesn't seem too good, but she is 21 years old so it's hardly surprising!

Last night of course, we went out to watch the World Cup semi final between England and Croatia. It was a bridge too far unfortunately,  but England have far exceeded expectations, and so long as they stay fit the future looks promising!

I have work tonight. My getting the night off caused a bit of consternation. It was the boss' suggestion though, and I'm not a fryer so really I can't see why it should have made a difference,  Hopefully it will have all blown over now.
