Gums in the Starlight

I was sitting on my swag taking that astro! Amazing trees.

I scouted the cliffs for aboriginal paintings before we left, and there's an example in Extras. Super!

Today was slow going with very rough rocky patches on the track. 
And a group of wild emus off the track. I don't think that they see many people.

The Martu people have been busy burning off in this area. We saw burnt off spinifex, mulga trees, letterbox (odd!) and a burntout Landrover.
Landrovers don't do well out here - Toyotas and Nissans have the best success rates.
