Portsmouth from Portsdown Hill.

I've been meaning to take a walk along Portsdown Hill for yonks now, i travel backwards and forward along the hill on my way to and from work, and there are always people out and about on the footpaths that cross the hill.
Well until this afternoon i didn't realise just how many footpaths there were, i eventually wandered onto some MOD land where i was finally alone.
Looking out from my vantage point and working from West to East i could see, Southampton, Fareham, Gosport, The Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Hayling Island, and i'd probably be able to see Chichester on a good day.
Considering the hill is only a 15 minute drive from home, i find it a little disturbing that i haven't made the effort before.
Probably a reflection of my life at the moment, everything kicked into touch because of work.
Note to self:- "Get a grip man, and sort your priorities out"...........
"Easier said than done"........., But i will try..........!!
