July WI meeting Part 2

We had a visit from the Harper Asprey Wildlife Centre today, and they talked to us about Amazing Grace, their Hedgehog project. In the blip you can see one of the hoglets they brought along. They were very cute. They told us, amongst other things, that the hot weather is having a detrimental effect on wildlife and encouraged us to try to help.
Other activities today were an art class and cake making. I tried out the mixed media class as an exchange for a class cancelled at the beginning of term. And I made cupcakes for the WI meeting...but nobody ate them :-(. It’s too hot for cakes.
