Sugar Sands
Sugar Sands Bay to Dustanburgh Castle
We went on one of our favourite local walks today. This was starting from Boulmer and then up the coastal path towards Sugar Sands and on towards Dustanburgh Castle. A few people walking their dogs, no cyclists for a change, and a fairly calm sea with one lone surf boarder.
It was very tranquil, blue skies and sunny.
You can see Dunstanburgh in the distance. This is also a lovely place to visit walking up towards Craster and Newton. These are the best kept secrets of the Northumberland coast, east of Alnwick. Long may the Southerners stay in the South.
