The temperature was in the 30’s again today. I gave up the idea of painting and went into the cool air conditioned shops to have a coffee with a friend. But it wasn’t pleasant once you left the cool fridge like shop because it was like a solid wall of hot air hitting you and it was impossible to breathe.

B&M had a strange idea to cope with air conditioning - their answer was two massive industrial like massive blowers at the till area, blowing all the dust and debris of the shop floor at you. It was like fighting through a tornado to try and get to the till, and then when you opened your purse the notes were lifted out like confetti...

I am going to try and get up early tomorrow before those parasitic critters start flying. I am going to try and paint..in the garden...
