Labrador Bay

Nature's wonderful, I could stand there wondering for hours. Fortunately, it hasn't drawn the attention of the authorities yet.

A definition of nature is "the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations". Of course it could be said that there's not much nature left as man has changed what we see even in a rural location like this. Henry 7th and 8th built about 40 warships, each one in the 16th century used 500 large oak trees. Later on the Victory is said to have used 6000 trees, 5000 of them oaks. Just think how those factors alone must have changed the way our countryside looks.

So this scene in my blip may owe more to man than to nature but it is a nature reserve, looked after by the RSPB so it fits very well with the theme of the Wideangle Wednesday Challenge - Nature (hosted by BobsBlips).

This is a two shot panorama stitched together by hand as Lightroom didn't do a very good job on this occasion.
