Shoe tree
It's been a delightful autumn day in the Peak District. L and I went to Buxton and saw the wonderful Devonshire Dome, built in 1779 for horses and for servants and oslers. You can't usually see inside but there was a Christmas craft fayre so we could go in.
Over the coffee cups we met two lovely ladies who were keen to help us find photo opportunities. One of their suggestions was to do to this tree in Buxton. Many pairs of shoes have been suspended from the branches. As you can see some are being absorbed into the habitat.
We also visited the Goyt Valley. Now there is a area for great walks. Note to self, must come back here.
Tomorrow there will be a mini blipmeet between viewpoint and me at the Wentworth Castle Gardens. Watch out for our Sunday blips.
