Today renovation of the leaking and partly rotten roof of the wood shack at the summer cottage. My task was to demolish the old roof, first by removing the roofing felt and the nails attaching it to the roof, and then the planks making the rood and its sides. Finally I removed the remaining nails from the planks. Altogether this produced about 1 litre of nails. The roof and its ingredients were about 35 years old.
