My very good friend Heidi asked this morning What are your plans for today? When mum answered Vacuuming, I knew I had to act! No day up until now has ever been good when the main activity has been vacuuming. So I said Mum, let’s go for an outing! Preferably one including ice cream...

And guess what? She said Yes! We went to the locks with the ice cream hut and the small marina. We had a great walk along the banks of the canal, shared an ice cream and then watched the tour boat descending the locks. Now that’s what I call an outing and a good day. Two extras.

Don’t worry, mum ate all the chocolate before giving any ice cream to me.
