A sad day

Today my sweet Callum was put to sleep. He had kidney disease and had recently gone downhill with a marked deterioration from yesterday to today. It wasn't an easy decision - how could I kill Callum when he trusted me to look after him? - but at the same time I know it was the right thing to do. His brother Robbie knows something has changed, I just hope he will settle over time.
