A day at the park

I took my little man out to a country park today for a good old play. The weather was a bit cooler so we enjoyed a good run around but not too cool not to have fun in the water play. We had a picnic by the lake and ran away from the big scary goose!
We had a great time together. I’m going to miss my Mondays.

This afternoon Phoebe brought home her school report. It was fantastic! She aced her SATs and her teacher only had positive things to say about her. As a reward we went to retail park after school and Phoebe was allowed to choose a few treats for herself. She chose a unicorn writing set and pencils (very educational) and a squishy (which is apparently the latest playground craze?)
