On The Move

A strange phenomenon today. It has been cloudy so far today, still warm a rise in the humidity. Just after 2.15pm this afternoon there was a bit of a din from seagulls. Going outside it was similar to a scene from the film The Birds, the gulls were on mass whirling and calling, then I spotted the flying ants. 

I assume, no doubt there is someone in Blipland who can put me right, that the gulls were snacking on the ants as they took flight. 
I apologise for the quality of the pics and the editing (first time I have put two pics together, need my mentor to go through it with me again!! )
