They've been growing tall, but not opening until today, a lovely deep pink too, while all I could remember from last year was a rather smudgy off white one.

In other news we've lured the pidgeon lodger into a box and took him to the nearest homing pigeons' shelter (fortunately just a stone-throw away). The daft beastie threw itself so hard against the kitchen window this morning that something inside on the window shelf fell off ! I decided that was enough, before it actually hurt or killed itself. See it longingly staring inside from the garden table in the extras.
