Birthday celebration
We took Carl's mum out for a meal to celebrate her 80th birthday. It was a beautiful summer evening, though slightly chilly in the shade, so we didn't copy the others who were eating outside.
Lobstar in Monsktown is a tiny place, shoehorned into half of what was originally a butcher's shop, and it's one of those place that you wouldn't know was there if you didn't know it was there. It's worth the effort to find it. The name gives the game away as to the sort of food to expect, and Carl and his mum had half a lobster each. I was less ambitious, but we were in total agreement that the food was really, really good.
It was a great evening: Happy Birthday, Carl's mum!
