Back To The Grind

PD was delivered and we started the holiday babysitting for the monsters.

At lunchtime Bags and I took The Cygnet the Sick Kids to have the wires removed from his elbows.
I dropped them off and went to collect my camera from the repairers and then went back to the hospital to see how things were going. I arrived just in time for the two wires (more like slim rods made from thick gardening wire) to be removed. The Cygnet was really good and never made a sound. In fact he dealt with it better than the student doctor who could bring herself to use enough 'pull' to remove the second rod.

When we got home SWMBO and Squirrel had gone to the shops and PD was really subtle and brought his collar to us, so The Cygnet and I took him out for a walk.

My evening was spent on the processing of the holiday snaps and the first of the backblips, but it will take me a few days to catch up fully.
