Princes Street

Off to town for a wee bit of Christmas retail pain. The electricals department of John Lewis was a bit manic. I blame Apple and unimaginative shoppers with too much disposable income. Bah humbug.

After perusing the Remembrance Garden at the foot of the Scott Monument, we ascended the 287steps only to get involved in a sightseers' bottleneck at the top. Not great if you suffer from claustrophobia but it allowed me to fire off a couple of shots of this familiar view. I think this must be one of my most frequent repeat blips. One day one of these blips will have trams in it - you mark my words!

If this street is named after two Princes, shouldn't it have a possessional apostrophe in there somewhere?
