Acadia National Park

We had a day trip to Sullivan Maine to the Granite Garden Gallery. We wandered around beautiful granite sculptures, set among birch trees by a natural granite quarry. Wonderful pieces created by the gallery owner and artist, Obadiah Buell. We bought a beautiful little bird bath and lusted over many other creations.
On our way home we took a ride around the Schoodic Peninsula, stopping for dinner. T had some lobster stew and a lobster roll of course for me.

Last, but not least we had an early evening drive through Acadia National Park, stopping to watch the waves at Birch Harbor. The sight and sound of the mighty Atlantic, just awesome.
