The Perfect Brew

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

We had a very chilled day. I went on a huge walk with Murphy. After the busyness of the last couple of days, it was nice to have some quiet on the hill and to get lost in my head. We had our usual stop at The Lodge cafe. I am such a regular now that they know my order which is great because I get my tea exactly the way I like it*. The lady who works there is lovely and always so chatty. She even gave me her cheese scone recipe!

I had arranged to meet Smashley for a drink tonight. It was good to catch up with him, but 3 nights out in a row is at least one too many. Probably two.

I’m not going to emerge from my cave until I go on holiday now. 5 days to go!
