The bread, despite its odd shape, is very good. CarbBoy - wearing his most shocked face - pronounced it delicious. If I hadn’t left it to cool in the tin it would have had a less soggy bottom and sides (hence some trimming, hence the funny shape).

Much work, doctor trip (where my blood pressure was much admired, but she wants to refer me for all sorts of funny tests in case there’s something wrong with me that I have no symptoms of. I was only there to renew my inhaler....), more work, TallGirl made dinner, then a good 40 minutes watering the garden, pulling weeds, and picking sweet peas. The latter being very ineffectual - there are just too many to pick!
