Tourists on the Malahat summit.
"The stretch of road known as "The Malahat" is a 20 km section of the Trans-Canada Highway perched on the side of a mountain ridge. It climbs over 300 m to its summit at 352 m, which, combined with it's location on the side of the ridge, leads to stunning views to the east and south. The viewpoint at the summit looks south over the Finlayson Arm portion of Saanich Inlet, the hills of Gowlland Ridge in Gowlland Tod Provincial Park, and the Olympic Mountains of Washington in the distance."
"There are a couple of picnic tables, some garbage cans, a pair of portable toilets (always there), the Salish Bear Pole, a benchmark, and the summit sign." (waymarking.com)
