Nursery graduation - is really a thing!
We went to pick up Nathaniel from nursery at lunchtime so his dad (who works nights) could sleep which would mean he could go to the graduation from nursery ceremony. Ella had one 2 years ago. We offered to take him to the Dicovery museum but he said he wanted to go home to play with his Lego.
Mr C supervised that while I went to LD Mountain to try to get boots or walking shoes that my arthritic toe could cope with. The chap had fitted boots for 18 years and suggested I take in my current ones and see what they could do re insoles. Meanwhile I bought some Meikle shoes which I have a week to try indoors.
I picked up Ella at 3.15 and we met Mr C and Nathaniel, and lots of Ella’s school friends at the park. It was a struggle to get them to come away to get home to get ready for the big event.
#3 daughter came home and showed us Ella’s excellent report from school. She is doing well in all areas but in particular her reading and comprehension. (Her reading the Guardian and asking what stuff means must help!)However something was bothering her and she got shouty and was sent out to calm down. She cried and cried. Her mum eventually got out of her what was the trouble. She said the report was wrong and couldn’t be good as she and a friend had been mean to another couple of friends. She had apologied and they are all friends again, but obviously this has given a big attack of the guilts.
Anyway we had the graduation (!] and took loads of photos but I like this one as the boy on the left is standing proudly as his Dad takes his picture, and meanwhile Nathaniel and a couple of little pals are being silly lads on the right.
