Lacock (Monday 9th July 2018)

There was a new cat in the garden in the morning.
I had to go to Whitehall Garden Centre in the afternoon to speak to the people who sold me my shed and I had a wander round the plants. These vibrant geraniums caught my eye. I didn't look to see which variety they were to justify their massive price but they look similar to those growing in hedgerows to me.
I did a walk from Reybridge after that but had to turn back when the lack of shelter in the unremitting heat proved too much. I took a short cut across the side of a field of crops and found lots of morning glory growing beside the path (see Extra).

From Joe Boyd Presents 'Way To Blue '- The Songs of Nick Drake. Luluc are an Australian folk music duo comprising Zoë Randell, whose voice reminds me a little of Bridget St John, and Steve Hassett. They are currently based in Brooklyn NY.
