The Atwood Building

104 Pine Street across from Pike Place Market. Originally built in 1909-1910 as the Afton Hotel for Oscar Smith and J.S. Atwood it became the Atwood Building and until December 2017 was an apartment building with reasonable rents and commercial tenants on the ground floor. It was sold for $14,900,000.00 to a company based in Los Angeles who is renovating and increasing rents. No longer affordable for many of the people who called it home.
