Tissington Magic

Set off this morning for a gentle ride with two friends who are infrequent cyclists.
However one of them had bike problems so they had to go back after just a couple of miles.
So we fired up the quattro (four feet) put our lippy on and gunned the tandem off into the Staffordshire countryside.
Rode the Manifold trail to Holme End, had coffee in the shop there and rode via Beresford Dale and some pretty muddy tracks to Biggin and the Tissingtom Trail which we followed to Ashbourne, then back up a pretty long tough climb past Ilam to our cottage near Calton.
Actually had the tandem in granny/granny at one stage.
Still we had a great day, didn't get caught in the rain and had great views on the Tissington Trail. 30 miles and a bit more than we planned.......
