The Send Off

Today was clear and crisp.
Just right for Mums memorial.

The service went well - despite a couple of hiccups from the minister over minor details of Mums life ........ but that just brought a bit of levity to the proceedings.

There were not too many tears (despite the slideshow I had put together) which is the way Mum would have wanted it.

Dad coped very well and stayed right through the service and ate very well. He was with us a lot longer than we expected and recognised most of the people who were there.
