A (long) labour of love

Mrs Soups's sister decided to make a special birthday present for Mrs S's big birthday in September 2011. She set about embroidering a picture. It turned into an epic journey, taking much longer than she expected, through trials and tribulations and it was finally completed on 7th November 2012.

The picture was presented to Mrs Soup today and it was worth the wait. The result is fabulous. They may not all be visible, but we are told, 189 beads have been hand sewed onto the picture.

I would say more, but I have to go and put it up on our bedroom wall...
