Better late than never...

.... and the Christmas cake goes into the oven!

The receipt comes from our old family Be-Ro flour cookbook whose pictures I remember clearly from poring over them as a child. I think it dates from the mid 1970s.

Anyway, cake is on the way, a couple of weeks late, but hopefully it'll turn out ok!
