Mower Monday.....

A damp start with the promise of some much needed rain. However there was hardly enough to dampen down the stoor before the relentless sunshine returned !
Sent one off to spread slurry on the field I baled for hay last week , the other to top the 30 acres of weeds before we can plough it in to sow rape/ stubble turnips ( on to plan B for this field due to the ongoing lack of moisture).
I headed off with the mower to cut another field of grass ready to bale tomorrow if things go to plan. Rigged up the sat nav in this Claas so I could cut the breaks in a ( more or less) parallel line
