Palm Trees

Palm Trees in the soft light during my early morning walk.
There weren't palm trees here in Brazil, they were brought by Portuguese sailors firstly from Africa and lately from Asia. The majority are along the coast, mainly in the northeast coast of Brazil. Not sure why some have been planted here, 1,000 km away from the sea.
