River Leven

Never seen the river this low! It is tidal at this point, near Roudsea Wood, so when the tide comes in it will look better, but the flow is really small.
Good news from the Roudsea Ospreys, they have three chicks, two males and a female. We saw them flexing their wings while the proud parents looked on from a nearby tree.
Less fun at home though, a plumber arrived to connect our new water main. We hoped that by the time we got home all would be over, but he was still at it with his massive drill and as a bonus had uncovered a fractured drainage pipe that needs fixing too!
