July WI meeting (part 1)

My first WI meeting of the month was today. We had music and stories from a guy and his wife, who have a collection of all of the records that been No 1. in the charts since it started in 1952. We heard the first ever No 1. (Here in my heart by Al Martino). Cliff Richard’s first No 1. (Living Doll). And a lot more besides. We ended with a dance to a selection of the records. Then it was tea and cake. A good evening.
The hot weather continues here. Temperatures up to the 30’s again.
