Bottom Lock, Walsall Canal

One of the cloudiest days of recent weeks, but a more humid atmosphere as a result.

I walked into Walsall along the canal network, ending up at Crown Wharf where there has been major redevelopment over recent years.  This was to drop off the E-M1 Mk II to a DHL service point to be collected for further service work, after it was returned from a repair, still faulty.  

I liked the juxtaposition of old with new and the sun even came out to make the infrared image pop that little bit more.

Technical: a 5 image panoramic stitch, some work in Photoshop using transform/warp to try and straighten all of those buildings and the stack in the distance.  Converted using the latest version of Nik Collection from DXO.  Fortunately I've been provided with the paid version after being part of beta testing for DXO.
