Welcome Home

This sculpture was erected in honour of the families who anxiously awaited the return of their fishermen. The men ventured into the dangerous seas aboard small fishing boats from the historic fishing port of Fleetwood. Fleetwood in no longer a major fishing town, but the memories are kept alive through this and other memorials.

I think I've blipped this before, but it must have been some time ago.
