Walking In The Vale

Alan who lives in my daughters street had his first crop of 'runner beans' and I bought loads as my parents wanted some. To drop them off to them we decided on Vale Trail Walk 6 (Vale of Glamorgan leaflets) and headed to Dinas Powys village on the outskits of Cardiff to do the five mile circular route. It was around 30c!

It takes in Salmons Leap (covered in pond weed today) and Cwm George Woods which is situated at the base of Cwm George Iron Age Hill Fort.
