The good old days

This morning Mrs T and I headed off to Mintlaw to the Aden Country Park at Mintlaw. We had intended to take the train home but arrived at the platform just in time to hear the following announcement:

"With a heavy heart we regret to announce that the ten past three, from Auchnagatt to Inverugie via Maud Junction, is delayed at Mintlaw; indefinitely!" Meanwhile, the chickens have occupied the third class carriages.

Extra! Earlier we had taken a look around the park's Farming Museum and  I think that I should share the extra with you. Should you ever find yourself in charge of an old Scots plough drawn by a team of 12 oxen, then you will need to know their individual names!
