A Year of Dedication and Hard Work......

    Yesterday an award was awarded by the Florida Bonsai Foundation, which is affiliated with the Bonsai Association of America.  The award  is for the dedication and work to a person who has promoted the education, the  growth, the sharing and development of the art and horticulture as well as joy of Bonsai to persons who wanted to learn a little, a lot, but share in this wonderful pastime.  
   The receiver of the state award, sponsored by the Bonsai Association ., was David Cutchins (on the left).  David is responsible for the creation of our new club, FBSO (Florida Bonsai Society of Ocala).  It has been through his continued hard work and dedication that the club has grown to 43 members and draws a wide attendance from North Florida to below Orlando.  The presenter is David Vanbuskirk (on the right) that is a board member of the BSF (state affiliation) and my mentor.
   David C was very surprised as he had been led to think another person was getting the honor.  David C.  is always there and willing to help, offer guidance and encouragement when David V is swamped.
Congratulations, David C., for all that you do.!
