A Sight for Sore Eyes...............

........................this is a large Acer tree I can see from my dining room window. It is in the garden of a bungalow opposite me and this morning the owner came across to me to ask if I would like to go and take a photo before it lost any more leaves - she said she had swept up sacksful already. Anyway, here it is! This particular variety is either Acer japonica or Acer nikoense and can grow (slowly) up to 25ft high. I rather favour the second one because of it's height.

Weather started off at about 6.30am with rain but by 8.30. had brightened up considerably.
