Ralph Waldo Emerson said that, "The earth laughs in flowers", which makes me think that I need to spend more time listening to the earth in my garden, rather than the depressing, cackle of our politicians.

I have received my new Jakoti shears, for undertaking the topiary on my back garden. First impression suggests that the shears are an excellent bit of kit.
