Rough road
We travelled from Wentworth to Mutawintji NP in western NSW this day ( back blip) .. the road to Broken hill was very dusty due to the new water pipeline they are laying 250k from the Murray River. The dust was like a thick fog to drive through. After getting supplies at Broken Hill we headed out to the National Park. People say the road is good, but we don’t have suitable vehicles for roughy corrugated dirt roads and when we arrived a lot of dust had come into the van through vent holes. I mean a lot. It was thick and red and awful.
We could not ride around the area as there were too many cat heads ( spiky burrs which puncture the tyres). After our long day we set up camp and cooked for us and Graham (our brother in law) who is travelling in convoy.
