D´s birthday

I was waiting all day, hoping for that chance to get a good photo of D - it was his 14th birthday after all. But it was dark when he left for school and dark when I picked him up to go out for dinner - and any embarrassing photos in the restaurant were completely out of the question, AND me nagging for photos is always a good way to ruin his day....which I didnt want to do on his birthday - so it was late and some how he had to be my photo :-) So this is an old photo of him and E when they were so little.

D had a good day - we did the cake in bed in the morning with presents and then we all went to the American Diner for dinner -yum :-) Im so proud of him - he is such a strong person, he does great at school, very a loyal and good friend, he is kind. And he is very funny :-) I love having him here and it is becoming clear that he wont be here so very much longer....he is growing up :-)
