Fading Wine

Just occasionally I get opportunity enough to play around with a photographic idea. Here is a bottle of wine, standing on a table in front of a translucent curtain with daylight beyond. A spotlight is highlighting the label.

I reshot the same scene four times at different focal lengths and used Photoshop layers to blend the images, varying the transparency each time. I am going to try this a few more times in the future using different techniques and subjects. Why? No particular reason. I just like fooling around like this ... when I get some time and feel motivated. Who knows what I might learn?
